There are 100 GetOutside Champions this year who are passionate about the outdoors.

But for now, we all need to spend time outside differently.

Planning outings, being aware of the risks and not attempting any activity you are not familiar with will help keep everyone safe. Please remember to follow Government guidance when getting outside for exercise. You MUST keep a social distance of 2-metres (6ft) away from anyone outside your household and continue to self-isolate if you or anyone in your household has symptoms.

More information on Government guidelines across the UK can be found here. We'd love to know how you’re making positive changes to your outside time, to keep your local communities safe.

Helping you to get outside safely

Here at Ordnance Survey we love the outdoors. In fact, it's in our DNA.

So not getting outside as freely as we are used to is going to be a bit of a challenge, and we're sure it will be for you too. But at this difficult time we must strive to help and protect each other and do our bit for our communities.
