Make time to find the path less trodden
2020 took us on a road less travelled but the outdoors has always been open. Find your freedom and enjoy the outdoors safely, away from crowds, by finding the path less trodden.

Explore from your door
How well do you know your local area? You may be surprised by how many paths and greenspaces are waiting for you to find! Now's the time to explore from your door, on foot or by bike, and discover the lesser-known paths and trails. We asked our GetOutside Champions how they’ve been exploring their local area and what they’ve enjoyed the most.
Reflecting on Lockdown
As a nation, we have been forced to stop in our tracks, limiting our time outside and the people we see. This challenging period of abnormality has encouraged many of us to take up a new hobby or learn a new skill. For others it's been about appreciating the little things which often go unnoticed, spring flowers, birdsong and more quality time spent with our children.
Walk to Work Day
Spending time outside every day is a great way to boost our health and well-being. Going for a walk is an excellent way to not only break up the day, but to also do something positive to influence your mood. It is simply one of the best things we can choose to do for ourselves. But if you need an excuse, this week we celebrate “Walk to Work Day”.
