Meet Mahdi Chowdhury – Spontaneous, football, foodie, tech lover, competitive, adventurer and driven
What drives you to spend time outside?
Different scenery and a change of pace from a busy life. It’s amazing what even just a day out can do for your mind and general life.

Honestly anywhere new. Every place has a key feature about it which I love.

Watching the sun rise/set.
Who inspires you and how?
Honestly no one in particular. I think you can always take parts of peoples lives and learn from it. At the end of the day you decide what you like in certain people’s personalities and lives. It is down to you and what you like, that’s how it is for me.
What are your focuses this year to help people get outside more often?
To try and set up a local bike club or do some of my own events to push local people to get outside more.

Climbing Ben Nevis, charity bike ride of 195km in Spain raising £2100 and coaching two 8-10 years football teams winning cups.
3 words you live by…
Respect, honesty and perseverance.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Probably watching anime, I do end up binge watching whole anime series.
