This photo of the Hebridean islands of Eigg and Rum was taken by Richard Owen in 2015 from Glenuig. He's caught the sunset just as it drops down behind Askival, the 812m peak on Rùm.
These are part of 'The Small Isles', which are just to the south of the Isle of Skye, of the west coast of Scotland. They are composed of Canna, Rùm, Eigg and Muck, plus a number of smaller rocky uninhabited islands or 'skerries'. Wildlife is abundant in these areas, with some of the islands being nature reserves.
