Britain's Favourite Walks: Top 100 - West Highland Way
Read about why GetOutside Champion Zoe Homes chose the West Highland Way for Britain's Favourite Walks: Top 100, to be shown on ITV in 2018
This photo by Lucy Arnold of Loch Laide in the Highlands was taken at the end of September 2015 and shows the near-perfect reflection of the beginnings of autumn.
Loch Laide is a small loch south-west of the Highland capital of Inverness, and near the much larger Loch Ness. This photo shows a beautiful reflection of Carn Na Leitire, a small 434m hill on the other side of the still waters. Loch Laide lies just off the route of the Great Glen Way - but Lucy let us know that she is lucky enough to pass it daily on her commute to work.
You can see the beginnings of the fade to autumnal colours in the greenery here, but there are still plenty of cool sunny days making it an ideal time to capture some beautiful landscapes like this.
