Daffodil army at Bingham Park, Sheffield by Neil Theasby

Spring flowers can transform landscapes nearly overnight. This picture, from 2012, was taken by Neil Theasby in Bingham Park, a popular park near Sheffield

The park was created after a donation of land to the City by Sir John E Bingham, a local factory owner, in 1911. It was subsequently expanded and now includes Whiteley Woods and has plenty of places to explore on foot, a tennis courts, play parks and some great views of the surrounding area.
