Summer is the perfect time to cool down by taking to the water. This photo by blogger, photographer and new OS employee Mal Grey shows a tranquil Loch Maree with Slioch in the background.
The nearly still water reflects the clouds forming at the top of Slioch, creating an almost dreamlike quality to the image. This photo was taken in 2016 during a canoeing trip on Loch Maree in the Highlands of Scotland, which included wild camping on the shores and islands, such as Isle Maree in the foreground.
