What drives you to spend time outside?
The benefits the outdoors has on my mental health are my big driving force.
Where are your favourite places to go?
Hidden in the Yorkshire Dales, is a small lake called Semer Water. The area is full of history and legends.
What is your favourite thing to do outdoors?
I love multi-day adventures, either cycling or walking. Small trips that feel like epic adventures.
Who inspires you and how?
My Grandad, still walking miles, still loves working and still doing his mad ideas. All at the age of 94.
What are your focuses this year to help people get outside more often
This year I’m hoping to show the U.K that it’s possible to have great adventures here, for the benefits of our health.
What are your 3 biggest life achievements?
50m swimming badge. Helping The awesome Mel Nicholls with her world record and walking Central America.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
From my time in the America’s, I developed a love for Spanish pop music! Proudly able to sing Enrique Iglesias ‘Hero’ in Spanish and English.
