Fancy getting in touch with your inner Robin Hood? Have a go at archery at Archery GB's Big Weekend events.
Looking for a new way to #GetOutside next weekend? If you've ever fancied getting in touch with your inner Robin Hood/ Katniss/ Legolas then now's your chance.
The weekend of the 4th and 5th of June is Archery GB's 'Big Weekend' when clubs up and down the country will be throwing open the gates of their ranges and inviting members of the public to have a go at the sport of archery.
Clubs provide the instruction and the equipment so all you need to bring along is your enthusiasm for trying one of the most quintessential of British out door pastimes, which is also an Olympic and ParaOlympic sport.

Generally everyone, young or old, super fit or sofa-surfer can have a go, and many clubs also offer disabled access and facilities for shooting - contact your local participating club directly for more information on what’s on offer.
And you may even spot a #GetOutside champion as we will be sending some to the Waterside Archers’ Big Weekend event in the lovely New Forest to try out their archery skills and we’ll give you a full report on how they got on.
Not able to get to the New Forest? Check out this link to find out more, and to find a club local to you holding a Big Weekend event.
