Climbing (the height of) Everest
There are many ways to conquer the height of the world's mountain; not all of them involve taking on just the one. #GetOutside Champion, Tim Meek, explains a more accessible way to take on Everest.

Lepe Country Park has over a mile of beautiful coastline which provides the perfect opportunity to take a tranquil stroll and admire the stunning views that can be seen across the Solent and over to the Isle of Wight. Watch the windsurfers skimming the water, the boats sailing out of the Beaulieu River or the ships coming into Southampton Water. It’s a great place for a family walk; the Lepe Loop is a popular scenic route from the Country Park. You can leave the car at home and travel to Lepe on the Beach Bus throughout the summer, an hourly bus service from Hythe to Lymington with a free ice cream at Lepe for every ticket holder!
Try canoeing or Kayaking in the New Forest National Park on the Beaulieu river with New Forest Activities. The Beaulieu river is unique in that it is one of the only privately owned rivers in the world, and is a haven for wildlife.
The National Park has many quiet country lanes, perfect for cycling, as well as over 100 miles of way-marked cycle tracks across the Crown Lands of the Forest. It's easy to hop off a train and go for a bike ride. Bike hire is available in all of the major villages (Brockenhurst, Burley, Lyndhurst and Beaulieu). (Film here you may want to include).
