Please note: this video was put together from activities on National GetOutside Day 2019.

It’s National GetOutside Day on Sunday 26 September 2021 and we want to invite you all outside!

Be Kind

Many of us have explored the Great British outdoors differently during the past year or so but now restrictions are lifting, we can all enjoy a fantastic summer with family and friends.

More so than ever, it's important we take care of the environment, be considerate to others and make time for ourselves.

So, this National GetOutside Day, we're encouraging you to have fun and to be kind - to nature, to each other and to yourself.

Stay safe

To keep everyone safe and happy, please continue to check local guidance before travelling, be considerate of others and leave nothing but footprints.

Save the date, spread the word and start making plans.

Keep up to date with plans for National GetOutside Day on Sunday 26 September by following us on social media.

How you can join in

National GetOutside Day is for everyone. It doesn’t matter about age, ability, gender or religion.
The outdoors has plenty to offer, from coastal strolls, family bike rides, or a splash in your local river, anything goes!

We'll be sharing some ideas and inspiration on what you can do on the day, so check back soon.

In the meantime, join an organised event or create your own using the free GetOutside app.
