Discovering dinosaurs on the Isle of Wight
Discovering dinosaurs on the Isle of Wight - a jurrasic family beach adventure
Lovers of the outdoors can rejoice with this fantastic four day family friendly festival bought to you from the people at Countryfile.
This exciting event brings the BBC’s flagship factual TV programme to the live arena at Blenheim Palace, allowing you to explore every aspect of the great British countryside in four fun-packed days (2-5 August).
Join us at the event to hear inspirational stories from our #GetOutside champions and discover more about our much-loved paper maps, plus the fantastic new features of our digital mapping platform, OS Maps.
There are plenty of other events going on over the weekend to keep the whole family entertained – even your dogs, which are welcome to the event too.
Expect fantastic family fun with the National Trust's ‘50 things to do before you're 11 and three-quarters’, including tree climbing, den building, mud pie making and bug hunting. Get stuck in with all the action from the countryside, with walks and rambling, a 4x4 off road experience, angling and fly fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and much more.
There's also the dog lovers arena, kayaking and fishing down at the river, the Countryfile kitchen, equine entertainment, a photography competition and much much more.
There's 600+ exhibitors who will be offering an unbeatable shopping experience; from food and craft heroes to country clothing, gardening, pet supplies and gifts. Find out more here.
Dogs are welcome to attend the event (max 2 per person). Head to the dedicated Dog Arena where there's a packed schedule of demonstrations, competitions and performances.
Don't miss The Kennel Club, dog display teams and the heat of 'Scruffts' - cross-breed championship of the year (Saturday and Sunday only). You can enter your dog, too!
Come along to the OS Dome and meet our GetOutside Champions, discover their adventures and take part in workshops throughout the show!
