GetOutside Champion: Jack Thurston
Jack has been poring over OS maps since very first teenage cycling trips from north London to Hertfordshire and the Chilterns.
Zoe Homes has always been a lover of the outdoors. From a very young age she has enjoyed playing outside, hiking with her family, camping, and generally spending as much time outside of her house as possible.
She is a huge advocate of the benefits of regular fresh air, and does her best to encourage others to make the most of the world outside their own front door.
She runs the One Hour Outside campaign to remind people that time outside should be a habit rather than an occasion, and has an ever-expanding bucket list that ensures she’s always trying new things. Zoe is also a co-founder of the Outdoor Bloggers network.
Zoe’s favourite way to explore the outdoors is on foot. She has done a number of hiking challenges in recent years, including the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Lyke Wake Walk and the West Highland Way. But she admits there is nothing nicer than a short stroll in woodland or along the sea shore with family and friends on a Sunday afternoon.
