BUCS Rowing Regatta 2018
Gus Mckechnie was born with cerebral palsy but has never let that keep him back when getting outside. Here he takes us behind the scenes of being involved with a prestigious rowing event: BUCS regatta.
If there’s something high, she’ll jump off it. If there’s something muddy, she’ll run through it. And if there’s a diem to be carped, she’ll carp it.
She believes that the daily grind is only a grind if you let it be one: what are you doing with all that time you are ‘off the clock’?Sanders has climbed the highest peak in North Africa, thrown herself out of a plane eight times, kayaked and wild camped along the Jurassic Coast, and slept on the summit of Snowdon. She also fits microadventures in wherever she can: from going for a walk at lunchtime to heading for the hills on a Friday after work you will find her, almost definitely, outside.
