GetOutside Champion: Karl Rushen
Karl created The 100 Peaks Challenge, a tribute to his brother (KIA in June 2011).
Kate feels privileged to have grown up on a farm in the countryside, with endless days and years spent playing outside in the beautiful Cotswold landscape.
Now, as a busy ‘normal’ person balancing a professional career, family life, and pursuing my own interests and hobbies, she can see how easy it can be to lose our innate connection with the outdoors.
Kate loves finding ways in her work and personal life to inspire families to #GetOutside.
Adventure isn’t about climbing mountains, it’s about finding those moments where you can feel the magic come alive within you. Those moments for Kate have always been found outside.
