Finding my salvation outdoors
GetOutside Champion Ashley Beolens looks back on his journey with severe depression and how he realised that reconnecting with nature could help with his recovery.
Emma Frampton is a Brit-Kiwi, in London. A marketer, community builder, explorer of London and beyond, coffee enthusiast, and lover of the great outdoors.
She can often be found wild camping, hiking or exploring by bike. A cycle tourist in the making, she completed her first solo trip around Cuba in December 2015 and more recently, the NorthCoast500 and the Carretera Austral.
Passionate about being a champion of others, Emma’s on a mission to use her professional and personal superpowers – connector, communicator and creator – to help people add positive new narratives.
In 2017, she co-founded Adventure Queens – a UK-based not-for-profit women’s adventure community, set up with the aim of smashing down barriers that prevent women from heading off on adventures.
