Barbara is a lover of the outdoors and a trustee of Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.
She earns a living as a lawyer and, like so many people, spends a lot of time indoors at a computer screen. However, she is passionate about the benefits of the outdoors for both physical and mental wellbeing and always tries to make time to get outside.
Although Barbara has completed numerous trail races, a few triathlons and the 6 day, 120 mile Transrockies Run she also loves little adventures at a slower pace close to home. Originally from Northern Ireland, she now lives in North Essex and enjoys exploring the beautiful East Anglian countryside whether walking, running or cycling.
