For Gus Mckechnie getting outdoors is literally life changing. Born with cerebral palsy an adventurous spirit has meant he has stayed up right and in control of his disability.
Anna Humphries is a qualified Mountain Leader and passionate Scout Leader.
Having spent all of her childhood playing outside, she is committed to encouraging more young people into the outdoors, for both the mental and physical well-being.
Since achieving her Gold DofE Award in College, Anna has obtained her Queens Scout Award, launched a charity called Scampers who deliver DofE Awards, gained a National Navigation Award Scheme provider-ship, worked alongside Bear Grylls during the filming of Survival School for CITV and is still inspiring hundreds of children to achieve outdoor skills and experiences.
As a female in the outdoor industry, Anna is also devoted to motivating other females to get outside more and prove that the outdoors is for everyone!
