GetOutside Champions Jen & Sim Benson are endurance athletes, guidebook authors and passionate explorers of the great British outdoors - here's 5 of their top tips for Winter running.
We all love to treat ourselves from time to time. Find out how many glasses of wine or mouthfuls of decadent chocolate brownie you can eat after your exercise!*
Most people will be familiar with the concept of calorie burning; if you're going to eat more, you need to move more!
Exercising doesn't need to be a chore, and we think you should be able to reward yourself for getting outside – that's if the beautiful British countryside, stunning sunrises and sunsets, unusual wildlife and mammoth mountains aren't enough to keep you interested.
Did you know that getting outside for under one hour of outdoor activity means you could enjoy one of these:
1.) a roast dinner
2.) a bag of Haribo sweets
3.) a glass of white wine
or if you've only got 30 minutes, you could earn:
1.) a pint of cider
2.) apple crumble
3.) a chocolate brownie
See the infographic below to find which activity you could be enjoying doing today (and some inspiration to reward/motivate yourself!).
